Apakah Itu Bromelain?
Bromelain merupakan sejenis enzim yang dikeluarkan dari batang (core) dan isi buah nanas. Bromelain digunakan bagi membantu mengurangkan keradangan dalam badan, mempercepatkan penyembuhan luka-luka dan lebam-lebam, dan membantu dalam penghadaman protein-protein. Kajian menunjukan bromelain amat berfaedah dalam membantu untuk melawan penyakit kardiovaskular dan kanser.
Sejak berkurun dahulu, Bromelain telah diterima dengan meluas sebagai satu rawatan berkesan untuk sakit dan bengkak disebabkan secara cedera (termasuk kecederaan sukan-sukan, pembedahan, dan jangkitan). Banyak kajian telah berkali-kali ditunjukkan bromelain bantuan keupayaan badan pulih daripada kecederaan dengan cepat lebih dengan mencegah pengumpulan fibrin dan bahan-bahan menghasut yang kuat, ibarat leukotrienes. Panel Pakar Jerman (Mentauliahkan E) telah diluluskan bromelain untuk rawatan bengkak dan kecederaan olahraga, dan mengesyorkan satu dos 80 untuk 120 miligram dua untuk harian tiga kali.
Terdapat bukti yang kukuh bahawa pengambilan 1,200 hingga 1,800 miligram bromelain sehari boleh membantu mengenangkan kembali kesakitan akibat keradangan dan kanser dalam yang yang sengsara dengan artritis reumatoid.
Apabila digabungkan dengan antibiotik, bromelain boleh juga membantu mengurangkan keradangan yang menemani sinusitis. Kajian-kajian telah menunjukkan bahawa bromelain adalah baik untuk penurunan bengkak payu dara dan meningkatkan khadar pernafasan.
Bromelain menyekat platlets dari berkumpul dan ia sangat membantu mencegah penyakit jantung disebabkan oleh pembentukan plak yang akan membawa kepada serangan jantung.
Bromelain sangat berkesan dalam merawat angina dan Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) juga dapat meningkatkan penyerapan beberapa dadah, termasuk antibiotik, ubat-ubat kemoterapi, dan tekanan darah tinggi. Bromelain boleh membantu rawatan-rawatan kanser menjadi lebih berjaya.
Bromelain membantu meningkatkan kesan-kesan ubat-ubatan lain juga, Seperti warfarin (Coumadin); anti Motrin, Advil, naproksen, dan aspirin; antiplatelet dadah clopidogrel (Plavix); herba-herba, ginkgo,bawang putih; dan dos vitamin tinggi E.
Bromelain boleh membantu yang menderita sindrom prahaid (PMS) oleh halangan prostaglandin hormon-hormon yang punca kejang prahaid, walaupun beberapa kajian telah menunjukkan bahawa bromelain boleh sebenarnya meningkatkan berdarah semasa haid.
Beberapa pakar mencadangkan mengambil bromelain di satu perut lapar. Magnesium , kentang dan soybeans boleh mengganggu penyerapan bromelain. Elakan bahan ini agar proses penyerapan Bromelain menjadi lebih berkesan.
